PALOS VERDES, California – March 21, 2016 – Trinium Technologies, a leading provider of business software for intermodal trucking and container drayage companies in the U.S. and Canada, has recently eclipsed a milestone for usage of its mobile app for truck drivers called Trinium MC2.
Trinium MC2 is a web-based mobile application used by Trinium’s container drayage customers throughout the U.S. and Canada. MC2 usage continues to grow, with the company reporting over 3,000 drivers using MC2 across dozens of drayage companies that manage port and rail dray operations. “We’re excited to report this new record number of users among our customers. Our focus has been to develop practical mobile functionality that makes the drivers’ work easier and creates efficiencies for the trucking company”, said Michael Thomas, CEO at Trinium Technologies.
Adoption of mobile technologies continues to grow in most business sectors including the trucking industry, where much of the workforce is distributed out in the field. Trinium has seen the same increases in adoption for MC2 with both owner operators and company drivers. The functional scope of MC2 includes dispatch workflow, document capture using the camera on the phone, electronic signature, and GPS tracking with landmark reporting. MC2 is also compatible with any smart phone or tablet, enabling a flexible BYOD (bring your own device) deployment strategy so drivers can use their own preferred smart phones or tablets. With the use of MC2, Trinium customers have seen increases in operational efficiency, improved cash flow by expediting the invoicing process, and improved customer satisfaction by providing more timely and accurate data.
