Trinium Releases Wait Time Settlements Application

PALOS VERDES, California – February 2, 2017 - Trinium Technologies, a leading provider of business software for the container drayage industry, has released a new module to help customers improve the management of waiting time, called the Wait Time Settlements Module.

Trinium’s customers are container drayage companies focused on port and rail drayage in the U.S. and Canada. Trinium’s TMS manages all back office functions from order management, to dispatch operations, to invoicing and driver settlements. The new Wait Time Settlements application will enable Trinium customers to better manage and document waiting time at marine terminals, rail yards, and customer locations. “Managing waiting time is a consistent issue within the drayage industry. Drayage operators have very little control over the turn times in the intermodal supply chain. This new functionality will enable our customers to prove the waiting time to their customer via GPS tracking and breadcrumb trail reporting,” said Michael Thomas, CEO of Trinium Technologies.

With Trinium’s mobile app, Trinium MC2, drivers are tracked via GPS throughout their process on all trips. This GPS data is exposed with in the Wait Time Settlements application, enabling office staff to easily monitor waiting time invoicing to customers and payments to drivers. The application also has a function to save the GPS breadcrumb trail report within Trinium’s TMS to efficiently present proof of the wait time billing to the customer. “The value for our customers is to capture more wait time revenue and to improve driver satisfaction with increased pay, especially with the owner operator model,” said Dennis Lane, vice president of sales and marketing at Trinium Technologies.
