Trinium User Conference Focuses on Mobile, Business Intelligence, and Intermodal Industry Trends

PALOS VERDES, California – October 3, 2018 – Trinium Technologies held its annual user conference for its trucking software division last week at The Maya Hotel in Long Beach, California with a record number of attendees.

Trinium’s TMS primarily serves container drayage companies, with customers in every port and intermodal rail market in with U.S. and Canada. The conference’s core themes were intermodal industry trends and technology adoption. “Our focus continues to be centered around applying practical technology solutions for container drayage companies. Many of the industry trends like mobile app adoption, business intelligence reporting, and open system connectivity are reflective of our product strategy”, said Dennis Lane, Chief Commercial Officer at Trinium Technologies.

The company’s product team announced the release of Trinium v10 and the next generation mobile app, Trinium MC3. Trinium v10 includes over 200 enhancements to the core TMS and complementary modules including a new modern look and feel. Trinium MC3 is the latest mobile app for drivers with improved document capture functions and enhanced GPS tracking and geofencing capabilities. Trinium saw a 25% increase in mobile app usage in the past year and expects this trend to continue as drayage companies look to improve efficiencies and provide better last mile visibility for their customers. The company also released an expanded suite of business intelligence tools to enable more real-time analytical reporting for executives, terminal managers, and end users.

Trinium also provided attendees an update of the recent acquisition by WiseTech Global, a global logistics solutions group based in Australia. “We’re excited to be part of a large global organization that provides logistics software in an adjacent space to our intermodal TMS offering. We’re looking forward to leveraging WiseTech’s global reach and broad technical resources to help better serve the Trinium customer base,” said Michael Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of Trinium Technologies.
